Surf Lessons at an additional cost are available for Guests age 8 and older at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Ever wanted to try surfing, but found the ocean a bit intimidating? At Disney's Typhoon
Lagoon water park, Guests ages 8 and up can learn how to surf in a fun, safe and controlled environment. Here, it's easy to hang 10!

Have the bay to yourself before the water park opens and shoot some curls created by a
wave machine during the Learn to Surf program. With small classes and professional
instructors from Craig Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surf School, novices can get started and
more experienced surfers can improve their form.

Learn to Surf Program Details
The Learn to Surf program is offered on select days (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday), early
in the morning prior to park opening. Each 2.5-hour class is $150 per person and includes:

or (407) 939-7529 to reserve your lesson. Spectators are welcome, so bring your friends
and family to check out this tubular experience!

Please note: Surf lessons take place in the early morning before the water park opens.
The lesson price includes use of the surf pool and water park facilities only during the
lesson. To stay in the water park after the lesson, you'll need to purchase admission to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park.

Disney Water Park Safety

At the Disney Water Parks, Guest safety is of utmost importance and lifeguard duty at the
Disney Water Parks is serious business.

Highly trained and qualified lifeguards are on duty over the course of the day patrolling
the Water Park. All Disney lifeguards must complete a thorough training program that
exceeds most national standards.
